1. Does the Taster system work wirelessly?
Yes, the Taster system is completely wireless. No additional cable installation is required – buttons and receivers communicate via radio signals.
2. What is the range between the button and the receiver?
Indoors, the range is on average up to 100–200 meters (depending on obstacles and wall thickness). In open space, the range can be longer.
If necessary, the range can be extended with repeaters (signal amplifiers).
3. Can one receiver receive signals from multiple buttons?
Yes, one receiver can simultaneously receive calls from dozens of buttons. Each button has its own number or label, so it is immediately clear where the call is coming from.
4. Can multiple receivers receive a signal from the same button?
Yes, it is possible to program multiple receivers to receive a signal from a single button – for example, both a supervisor and a shift manager.
5. Does the receiver show where the call is coming from?
Yes, each button has a label that is displayed on the receiver screen when pressed. There is also the possibility of an audible signal.
6. Can multiple functions be selected (eg call, cancel, emergency)?
Yes, there are buttons with one or more options. Multi-function keys have more buttons, e.g. “Call”, “Cash”, “Card”
7. Is the system portable?
Yes, the devices are portable and easy to move, which is ideal for temporary locations, fairs, construction sites or seasonal facilities.
8. What is the system power supply?
The buttons are powered by batteries that last 6 months to 2 years, depending on how often you use them. Receivers are usually rechargeable or mains powered.
9. Is only a button enough for my system?
Some receiver must be connected to the button – display, clock, doorbell, or app with wifi button.
10. Is there a warranty and service?
Yes, all devices have a 2-year warranty. We provide fast parts replacement, maintenance and support, as well as installation assistance.
